How Dr. Golovin’s Journey Began
Dr. Golovin’s path to dentistry began with a simple goal: to create healthy smiles and happy lives in an environment where patients feel at ease. After completing his undergraduate degree at Loyola University in Chicago (2011), he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry (2015).
Since then, he has dedicated his career to expanding his knowledge and refining his skills. Through continuing education and hands-on training, he ensures his patients receive modern, long-lasting solutions.
From Georgia to Dunedin
Born in the Republic of Georgia, Dr. Golovin immigrated to the United States at just two years old. His story is one of perseverance, adaptability, and gratitude. Qualities that now shape the way he cares for his patients.
Outside of dentistry, you’ll often find him skiing, playing basketball, or enjoying time at the beach with family and friends. His love of people and passion for health carry through to his work, where he values long-term patient relationships built on trust and understanding.

Dentistry never stands still, and neither does Dr. Golovin. He regularly trains in new techniques so his patients benefit from care that lasts and feels natural. He exceeds the state requirement for continuing education by completing 24 hours of advanced training each year, double the minimum required.
