Giving Back at Gulf Shore Dentistry
At Gulf Shore Dentistry, our work extends outside the office walls. We’re dedicated to serving people in need, both locally and globally. For Dr. Michael Golovin and our team, dentistry is about caring for people, supporting communities with care that reaches beyond dentistry.

Caring for Our Community and Beyond
We believe everyone should have access to care, no matter their circumstances. That’s why we partner with organizations that share our values of compassion and service. Through these initiatives, we’ve had the opportunity to provide care to underserved populations, restore health, and bring comfort to those who might otherwise go without treatment.
Why Giving Back Matters
For Dr. Golovin, giving back is not just an occasional effort, it’s part of who he is. As someone who immigrated to the U.S. at a young age and built his life through dedication and resilience, he understands the power of opportunity and service.
Our involvement in these programs reflects our philosophy: dentistry is about people first. Every patient we help, whether in our Dunedin office or through community outreach, reminds us why this work matters.

Our Service Partnerships
Global Medical Brigades
Dr. Golovin has worked with Global Medical Brigades, a movement of volunteers that provides medical and dental services to rural communities around the world. By joining these efforts, he has helped deliver essential dental care to individuals who lack access to even the most basic services, improving lives and health far beyond our borders.
Mission of Mercy
Closer to home, Gulf Shore Dentistry participates in Mission of Mercy, an organization dedicated to offering free medical and dental care to underserved individuals and families in the United States. These events allow Dr. Golovin and our team to live out our values of compassion, empathy, and service right here in our local region.
Give Kids a Smile Day
Children are the heart of our communities, yet many grow up without access to proper dental care. Each year, we take part in Give Kids a Smile Day, a national initiative that provides free dental services to children in need. By helping kids receive cleanings, preventive treatments, and restorative care, we give them the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
